Well, we did it, folks. We survived to see another year, just like the heroes of our story. Of course, the stakes might not have been quite so high in the real world, but let’s still chalk that down as an accomplishment. And with that, this thrill ride is over! Thank you very much for your patience with the frequent cliffhangers, and we hope to see you back for the even more confusingly-titled sequel, Babel the 2nd: Golden Boy, which we’ll do whenever they decide to release the volumes.

Sorry, someone put tears in the corner of my eye and I can’t really see what happened all that well… But if my count is correct, we’ve caught up to the tankobon releases for Kengan Asura, and we did it basically entirely within 2018! All that’s left is the finals, and then we’ll be all set for the sequel and the anime. Thank you so much for joining us on this massive catchup journey that caused us much suffering (especially on the editing end). I’ll have a lot more to say when we actually complete the series, but for now let’s call this a triumph!
