1016-HIT COMBO!
Well, folks, here’s a bit of a different kind of post for a different kind of day. I’d like to take this day to recognize our main typesetter and editor, kazuhiko1412. He’s been a great addition to our team, his consistent quality work and improvements across time have been really amazing to watch. Without him we would never have even come close to the legendary achievement of 1000 days of consistent releases, and projects like Bo-bobo and Ramenman would still be in the stalled hell that they were. So in honor of his birthday, we’ve started up a few new projects of his choosing, and we’d like to release a chapter in each. Go get ’em below!

Here’s Chapter 1 (Battlefield manga): MediaFire

From the creator of Blazing Transfer Student comes just about the farthest kind of manga you can get from Blazing Transfer Student: A collection of super-serious short stories set in Europe during World War II. Read and delve further into history as Shimamoto switches up his style to bring you stories of humanity amidst mankind’s darkest hour.

Also from the creator of Blazing Transfer Student comes a manga about manga. Meta-manga, maybe? Anyway, now you can take a look into the life of a manga artist who’s definitely not supposed to represent Shimamoto Kazuhiko! Who… also wears weird headgear for some reason. Anyway, some astute manga fans may point out that this has been done before, but we’re going over it anyway due to future plans to hopefully tackle the longer sequel, and what better time to start than now?

Classic fighter fans rejoice, cause Terry Bogard and his friends are back to kick ass! In this story he has to fight his way through the terrifying Devil Street with the help of his friends, his baseball cap, and the combos that you can all recognize!

Here’s Oingo Boingo Brothers’ Adventure: MediaFire

And last but not least, here’s a little treat for the Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure fandom, a brief little story collecting the artwork from Boingo’s fortune-telling comic book that he uses in the latter half of Stardust Crusaders (spoiler alert, anime-only people; sorry about that but seriously read the manga). Featuring a genius commentary from the one and only Rohan Kishibe, this book is not to be missed!

We have used some of the money you guys have kindly donated, but since we want to keep some for the renewal of the website, we would appreciate more donations to get more stuff. This includes, but is not limited to, the complete HnK Extreme Edition (which we will translate), Strawberry HnK, and Garuda since the scans we found were regrettably low quality magazine scans. We don’t have a specific goal right now because the list is endless, but the more you donate, the more we’ll get.
