The End of Violence Jack (Manga)

5000-HIT COMBO!
Well, this sure has been a long time coming. An entire 500-page volume and a half, to round off a series we definitely bit off more than we could chew with, one that caused us a lot of unnecessary drama at the outset, and one that a lot of people were a little bit too eager to read for reasons I’ll never know, but here it is in all its glory. Most of this series has been a one-man labor of love by Takeru Kyori, who both translated and edited, so he really deserves all the props more than any of us here. I don’t know if he plans on doing the sequels or revivals or whatever, but if he does they won’t be through us, so if you see him around don’t forget to give him your support. And with that, I may have heard once or twice from a few Nagai fans that this ending may have something to do with Devilman, but honestly with this manga, who can really tell if anything is canon to anything? Nagai himself probably wouldn’t tell. So just take the wildness as it comes. Also, this ending may be already-covered ground for some people who were so impatient that they just had to get the destination without the journey, but if this is you, rest assured that you will not see the light of heaven. See you next time for something completely different!
