Here’s chapter 41 (SnK manga): UploadJockey

Here is the long awaited chapter 41. It took a while because I was on holiday, but don’t expect any fast releases any time soon until we get another translator. Thus, we urgently need Japanese to English and French to English translators for both the manga and the anime. Please join us if you have those skills, so we can get back to a decent release schedule.

Dear Hokuto clan,

I’m back from my holidays, but I just found out that Effatus (our super speed editor and translator for the SnK manga) is too busy with real life to continue with the pace of production you guys are all used to. The same has happened with our translator for the SnK anime, whom I haven’t heard from in a while. I too am also very busy with real life to do fast translations, although I will still continue translating, albeit at much slower speeds, as long as TUIII (the only editor left) keeps editing and doesn’t leave the group. Thus, the Hokuto Army is sorely lacking the required staff to keep it going, so we urgently need your help!!!

Our first priority is TRANSLATORS, and we therefore need:

1. A French to English translator for the SnK manga.
2. A Japanese to English translator for the SnK anime. 

If you can help us please join the team ASAP, otherwise you’ll just have to wait for slow releases, or maybe no releases at all! Let’s hope someone shows up so the latter doesn’t happen.

PS – Chapter 41 of the manga has been translated and our editor is working on it right now. Our encoder is hopefully going to do a 2nd version of Episode 12 of the anime because it was slightly mis-timed. It’s almost unnoticeable, but perfectionists like SoH and myself just can’t let it slide.

Here’s episode 12 for all to enjoy like a thief in the night! Sorry for the late release, but I’m still on holiday and I’m using various internet connections whenever I can find the time to use them. As a matter of fact, I haven’t even double checked the final encode like I usually do, but I’m sure it’s perfect because our encoder DaiKenOh is kick ass! Much love to the rest of the team too, because they also make sure everything is top quality for all you folks.

Now, in regards to the release, on the one hand, the story is starting to build up to the good stuff, and on the other, this episode is also the starting point where the animators get sloppy and thereby produce some really bad animation due to the anime’s poor ratings. What’s worse is the animation gets really bad from episode 13 onward, but what can you do. For those who want to see top quality hand drawn SnK, you can always check out the manga, which we’ll resume in September. Anyway, enough talk, now enjoy.

Pfff…Here’s a 4 chapter parting holiday gift for all. I was going to wait and release these 4 chapters with chapter 40, but that chapter still isn’t ready so I thought you guys should at least have the chapters that are already finished. Now, let me take this opportunity to inform everyone that I am on holiday at the moment. I will try and release at least one chapter a week whilst away, but I’m not promising anything. The only thing I can say with some certainty is that I’m soaking my legs in some nice sea water, I have a crappy internet connection, and that I hope you guys can appreciate that my legs are very important me.
