Well, it’s finally time for Asuka to go back to the future, but not before he leaves behind some handy-dandy flowcharts and timelines to help his modern friends figure everything out. Meanwhile, all Marty McFly left behind him was stealing the credit for inventing rock n’ roll from Chuck Berry. And with that, everything’s come full-circle and this manga is over! This was certainly one of Shimamoto’s more serious works (although that’s not saying a whole lot), and it had a lot of original concepts and characters. So this is one I would most certainly recommend, whether or not you’re a fan of Shimamoto. And as always, I’d like to thank Kazuhiko1412 for sticking through on this manga, even if the forums and the flowcharts were a bit of a headache. And stay tuned for even more Shimamoto coming very soon!

Here’s chapter 1 (Dan manga): MediaFire

No, the Shimamoto ninja action hasn’t ended just yet! In fact, this manga’s not just about ninjas: It’s about super ninjas! This one’s a very early manga that Shimamoto drew in collaboration with Kariya Tetsu, who’s written a whole bunch of yakuza stuff, and more recently, a cooking manga that’s longer than any manga has any right being. And since it was written at a time of transition for both of them, this one’s quite a bit different from both of their other works. Most notably, the main character is, honestly, a bit of a shithead, as opposed to the naive hero type that Shimamoto usually draws. But either way, we’re not letting that stop you from reading it! So go ahead and read it, cause this manga doesn’t waste any time in throwing you in the middle of the action and introducing the eyepatched villain that you can already tell will most definitely stick around throughout the series!
