Well guys, I usually don’t like releasing two of the same thing two days in a row, but I think we can make an exception this time, because it’s finally done! Now finally the original Ashita no Joe anime is subbed in English in all its glory, so it’s time for you to all go marathon the series! The credit here definitely goes to Saizen Fansubs for sticking out for this series in spite of all the challenges and setbacks they encountered along the way; we only gave them the boost that they needed. But now this chapter is behind us! But no, that doesn’t mean that this is the last you’ll see of our partnership with Saizen. Who knows what we could bring out with them next? Perhaps sometime we’ll bring you Ashita no Joe 2, you never know…
Also, I’d really like to give you all a batch torrent of the complete series, but it’s been well over eight months since we’ve had a dedicated torrent creator! In all that time no one’s stepped up for what’s literally the easiest way you can contribute to a fansub group, and I think that’s ridiculous, so I’d like to see someone step up to the plate! Yes, there’s going to be a bit of a backlog to clear first, but it won’t be so hard once that’s taken care of. And the way to apply couldn’t be easier. Just write a comment down below that says “I can make torrents for you guys”, and leave a valid email address! I don’t see what’s so hard about that that it’s taken eight months for somebody to do it! I know this is supposed to be a happy time now that Joe’s finished, but that’s literally the only thing keeping me from putting all anime projects back on hold until we get a torrent creator.
Once we’ve got a willing torrent creator though, I want the rest of you to sit back, relax, and enjoy this classic in its entirety that’s been a long time in the making!

You guys are really great. Thanks for sticking with this anime. I have been with you since day 1 and I will never stop supporting you. I remember everything, when it all started from the Heart of Madness site, and you decided to move on a new group for Souten No Ken and various Hokuto manga releases. I will never forget your devotion to things you love.
It’s been a looooong time, many things have changed, we have seen many other releases apart from Hokuto stuff, but your devotion is the key element here that matters.
I prefer to watch completed series, so I haven’t downloaded any episode. I have been waiting for this time since the release of the 1st episode, and now it is finally time to see the “father” of Hajime No Ippo.
