Best way I can describe this manga is “Black Jack meets Hokuto no Ken” so if you like either (or better yet, both) of those manga, or you like watching surgeries with a liberal dash of macho badassery in it, then this is most definitely for you! And yes, it’s an incredibly long manga, so we’ll be in it for the long haul, but that also means there won’t be any sort of shortage of machoperation stories anytime soon! Now, the doctor is in, folks, so file into the waiting room and get ready to meet Doctor K!

Eventually we’ll be getting to it. I didn’t know it was published in Vietnamese (though I know it was published in Thai)… And yes, “Super Doctor K” is the first part, “Doctor K” is the sequel, and “K2” is the current part. Perhaps this one wasn’t published in Vietnam?
They published “Doctor K” in vietnam. All the volumes.
But Here’s one fucked up thing about this country: there’s no rating system in EVERYTHING!
Adults and kids watch the same type of Tv show, movies, read the same type of mangas. etc. Together in harmony. So…. in order to turn it into “rated E for everyone” they censored most gruesome scenes and made up alot of shits in translating. They put words in the characters’ mouths every once in awhile. So actually we don’t get to experience it to the fullest.
And oh, did I forget about the “re-draw”. Yeh when i say re-draw it’s not photoshop redraw. it’s when they turn a swords, a knife, or a gun INTO A FUCKING PEN, a flash light or whatever the fuck I don’t want to think about it.
For the “K2” series, some Viet group picked it up 2 or 3 years ago. And released free chapters online. I’m not too sure which language of the RAW scans they’re using. But Since they’re all expert in both chinese and japanese. Translation is EXCELLENT!!!
Too bad, the project was dropped after 2 volumes.
And That’s also how far we got into the series. It’s never been mentioned again. Thought I’d never see the day :D:D:D

Btw, there’re couple of big vietnamese scanlation groups . They’re known for quick and quality releases. They hold many projects at once and keep on realeasing one chapter per day.
