Btw, there’s some sad news regarding our beloved SnK; it seems the manga is coming to an end at a grand total of around 22-23 volumes max. Not bad I know, but I was hoping this would last longer. Still, I’m secretly hoping we at least get an OVA series in future because the anime TV series sadly didn’t do this great series the justice it truly deserved.

PPS: I just started my holiday after a month of hard labor, so I will post the Hokuto whenever I can. That said, get ready for a nice Hokuto treat in the next few days, and be on the look out for a certain SC who’s got quite a few little treats up his sleeve.

I wonder how the series will conclude. Are Kasumi Kenshiro and Koryu, the guy who lives in the cave and gets killed by Raoh, the same person?
Dang, really that long, almost as long as the original, wish both were longer.
@sonofsamson: I’ve said this a lot of times, but I’m pretty sure Koryu and Kasumi Kenshiro are the same person because:
1. The names are different.
2. Kasumi Kenshiro was already the successor who willingly passed on the successorship to his brother whereas Koryu competed against Ryuken to attain it.
3. No-one ever mentioned Koryu was Ryuken’s brother. He was just considered a rival who wanted to become the successor.
Thanks a lot for doing these scans. The 30s China vibe is a lot more accessible to me than the Mad Max scene of Hokuto and the pacing and art seems more refined.
