      Bravo!! Another job well done!!
You guys have once again made this old farts day with your awesomeness!

      Awesome, another one! :D

      Thanks much guys.

    3. Well done guys! And…

@Sonofsamson: What’s with the gibberish? Could it be that you have been…Disemvoweled?

    4. Sonofsamson says:

You’re absolute power has driven you mad.

    5. No, you were disemvoweled because you whined after SC warned that requesters and whiners would suffer that fate. You’ve made unreasonable requests in the past regarding SnK and you continue to do so in posts like this (which do not effect the release of our Hokuto projects btw). In short, the team and I have lives and will not be rushed at your whim. Learn patience or you will be Disemvoweled!

    6. Warsman says:

No puedo crer, Kinnikuman? Eso es increible, muchas gracias, oxalá toda la série tenga sub! ><

Someone’s taking the piss a bit, but… people tend to do that occasionally.

    10. SystematicChaos says:

Thanks for the comments, The Orgg, and I’m glad you appreciate the releases, but I really don’t understand the videos. Could you explain why you’re posting them?

Also, would you mind passing this on to that prick SpookyDoom on your forum:

“We at Hokuto no Gun appreciate donations, but we do NOT appreciate our donors telling us to work faster. We work for free, and we do not expect payment for our work. The donations we receive are used to cover server and forum costs, as well as covering the cost of the DVD RAWs (We already have the complete set for Kinnikuman). Kinnikuman will remain our second-last priority project, but this is only because of its length. We have lives outside of fansubbing, and we work in our own time. Episodes will be released when they are finished, no sooner, and no amount of donations will change that.

In short, please donate if you are grateful for our releases. But don’t try to buy us.”

I would register on your forums, but after what happened to Wimmo, I’m hesitant

    11. The Orgg says:

The videos were amusing and came at about the same time as the episodes started back. I found them funny and they reference a classic American movie called ‘What’s up, Tiger Lilly?’ by Woody Allen.

I thought the Kinniku-Fans here might enjoy the humor and irony used. I thought some of the words were well chosen for what the dialog sounded like.

With reguards to ‘Spooky Doom,’ I don’t know of the member, so he isn’t a regular. I assume he wasrude when making a donation? I understand your hesitation to join the forum (private message me on this forum if you want), but I cannot speak for another person.

Personally, I would love to see Kinnikuman keep up the pace you’ve set, though. ;{ ) The quickness of the two episodes this month made me quite giddy, expecially for a ‘second to last’ priority project. I’d do what I could to upgrade the prioirty myself, though I’m a broke college student, so it wouldn’t be financial. I’ll support it vocally all I can, though.

By the way, what is the ‘priority’ list right now? I know the Fist of the North Star stuff is probably at the top since the website is named after it, but where does Bobobo bobo Bobobo fit? What’s lower in priority than Kinnikuman? (thinking about it, I’m not sure why a long legnth would make a project lower in priority… Logically I’d think it’d be higher prioirty so as to try and get it finished within a reasonable time…) Not a critisism, just a curiosity, by the way.

    12. SystematicChaos says:

Thanks for your reply. I could tell they were funny, but was quite confused.

Regarding SpookyDoom, he posted here: http://www.littlerubberguys.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=31598. To us, it seemed like he thought he could make Kinnikuman go faster by donating. That came across as rude to us, because it showed that he thinks he can pay money to get what he wants. Which is just not true. Plus he wasn’t willing to donate if the money was going to Bo-bobo.

Regarding the priority list, it goes:
Hokuto projects (Shin Kyuseishu Densetsu anime, Gaiden and Souten no Ken manga)
      Sakigake!! Otokojuku
      Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo
      Kinnikuman
      Genshi Shonen Ryu

The reason the shorter ones are higher priority is that we can get them out of the way sooner. However, I have completely translated Otokojuku, and done as far as the raws we currently have in Bo-bobo, which is why I’ve been able to work on Kinnikuman. Plus, the Muscle Subs team is just about entirely different from the other teams, so the other projects don’t interfere with Kinnikuman.

Genshi Shonen Ryu is last because none of us really care about it, and we’re just trying to keep a fan happy.

In all honesty… the only way to up the priority will be to find us new staff. But like I said, we’ve got the bases covered, except we could use another translation checker. Our current TL checker is pretty loaded right now.

    13. The Orgg says:

What’s the job of the Translation Checker? Watch a ‘finished’ episode and make sure the words match the words spoken? I may know someone who might can do that, though I’d have to ask.

Also, how much is there of BoBoBo is there? I was under the impression it was a fairly short-running show, though a very long manga.

    14. SystematicChaos says:

The job of the translation checker is to make sure that the translation done by the translator is accurate. The only real criteria is fluency in both English and Japanese. Oh, and I’d like to keep our current TL checker on Kinnikuman, because he’s a big fan of the show and catches a lot of things that I miss, so it would be for Bo-bobo that we need a TL checker.

      As for Bo-bobo, it’s a whole 76 episodes long.

    15. Sonofsamson says:

I am a whiny whore-mongering ladyboy who feels entitled to make demands! Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

    16. SystematicChaos says:

I’m sorry, but is this the same Sonofsamson who said:
“But, if Souten No Ken can be sped along a bit by making a donation, I’ll give $10”

That attitude came across as rude to us. It seemed like you were under the impression that you’re entitled to our releases just because you gave us $10, and what’s more, that you had the right to tell us to work faster on Souten no Ken just because you gave us $10.

All our releases are released when they are finished, no sooner. We have lives, and we can’t dedicate them entirely to fansubbing. No amount of donations can change that.

Plus, when you said “I miss Kenshiro” earlier, it came across to all of us (not just LoverofHokuto) as a passive-aggressive way of saying “You should stop working on things that are not Hokuto.” In fact, weren’t you the one that said “It would be great if you could skip the Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo stuff and other non Hokuto related media, so your team could focus more on SNK”? I in particular found that very arrogant, as I’m translating the shows I love, and you have no right to tell us what we can or can’t do. You seemed ingrateful for all the work that we have done.

Secondly, it came across as ignorant, because it seemed that you thought that we were diverting all our energies to Kinnikuman and Otokojuku and not to Hokuto. For your information, the day you posted that was the day that I single-handedly translated two volumes of Rei Gaiden.

Souten no Ken is taking a while to release because our French -> English translator hasn’t had the chance to work on it. When that kind of thing happens, there’s nothing we (or you) can do. Donating particularly won’t help.

Also, you seem to have forgotten that you’re not our only fan! So you think you’re entitled to tell us to stop everything that’s not SnK just so you can get more of it? Well, I hate to break it to you, but Otokojuku has fans, and so does Kinnikuman, as does Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo (believe it or not), and so do the HnK Gaidens. Are they entitled to say that we should drop SnK to work on this stuff? Of course not! You have no right at all to assume that we’re catering to you!

As I asked TheOrgg to pass on earlier, donations are for people to show their gratitude for our work, not for ordering us to work harder.

Please do not post here again until you learn to show some gratitude and patience, and remember that you are not entitled to any of our releases. At the very least, learn to be a bit more careful about what you say. This is your final warning.

Oh, what the hell, who am I kidding? You’re just going to start cursing at me (like you did with LoH) instead of reflecting upon your actions. You don’t deserve another chance.

    17. And thirdly, you’re a big fat whiny female douche that is now banned from this site! Be gone female douche and join the ranks of the likes of Freezer and Griffondork in the land of the whining whore-mongering ladyboys where you belong.

PS – Also, stop linking your love interests (on your name) at our site!

    18. @SC: For the record, and in case peeps think I’m being unreasonable, here’s a few examples of this guy’s non stop whining antics:

      1) Whine 2) Whine 3) Whine 4) Whine

Good riddance, and let this serve as a warning to any future would-be whiners that whining will not be tolerated.

    19. Murmeli Walan says:

I just stumbled upon this website tonight after searching Google for Kinnikuman dubs (I liked Ultimate Muscle, enjoyed the Gamecube game, and own a bunch of those little M.U.S.C.L.E. toys from when I was a kid). I’m really glad that there’s a team out there dubbing this show just as I start to get into it.

I haven’t even finished downloading the torrents yet, but you’ve already got another fan right here. Thanks!

    20. Jay says:

      WAIT, KINNIKUMAN IS BACK?!?!?!

I randomly came here hoping that there would be a few new eps, and they are here!!!! YESSS THANKS SO MUCH!!!!

    21. IAmSeekingTheWay says:

I just wanted to remind you guys how much you rule.

    22. Yagami says:

      Thx for returning Kinnikuman ^^
