Well, I guess you can’t end a series about Musashi without the duel of Ganryu Island, but with a rushed ending and without the adequate build-up it just feels a little hollow. I guess it’s thematically appropriate given the direction this manga was heading. Anyway, hope you enjoyed this brief manga with Motomiya’s unique take on Musashi, and let’s hope that one day Vagabond actually gets to the duel of Ganryu Island!
