Ah! How awesome that you’re re-translating this! This one was actually released in the US ages ago … my cousin still has the third volume in his bookshelf … back then it was really strange, we were into Spider-Man and comics, and it was really strange how this one “comic” was all black and white, with strange-looking drawings, little did we knew :3

Is this really drawn by IKEGAMI? I mean I know artists can vary their style but this looks absolutely like something from the 70-80s.
I was positively surprised when I saw this released because I was quite curious about this version because of the mentioned brutality in the synopsis on Baka-Updates.
Or is that style chosen on purpose to kind of show the innocence of Spider-Man’s beginning?
Those who have the discontinued volumes, is the style going to change later?
